Refund policy

“Pumps and Parts Pty Ltd” (“the Supplier”) warrants repairing or replacing, at its discretion, any defects or defective parts which are proven to be solely bad due to poor workmanship or defective materials.

After notice of defect is received and substantiated, the Supplier shall correct such defect by suitable repair to such equipment or by furnishing replacement equipment or part(s) as necessary to the original point of shipment. Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective equipment/ part(s). 

All other costs, including, but not limited to; inspection, removal, freight and cartage, re-installation, re-testing, cost of delay to work of contractors, cleaning up and loss of production and profits, are not covered by this warranty and would be borne by the purchaser.

With respect to equipment/ parts not manufactured by the Supplier, the Supplier shall assign to the purchaser the warranty the Supplier receives from the manufacturer. 

No equipment or part furnished by the Supplier shall be deemed to be defective by reason of normal wear and tear, failure to resist erosive or corrosive action of any fluid, or purchaser’s failure to properly store, install, operate or maintain the equipment in accordance with good industry practice or specific recommendations by the manufacturer.

The Supplier shall not be liable for the cost of any repair, replacement, or adjustment to the equipment or parts made by the purchaser or for labour performed by the purchaser, or others, without prior written approval. Work performed by others without written approval is not covered by this warranty.

The warranty period for new products is twelve (12) months from the date of the invoice, repairs are warranted for 3 months from date of the invoice. Notification of any claim made under this warranty must be made within these periods.

The Supplier’s liability under this warranty shall be limited to the value of the original invoice at the time of purchase.

The express warranty set forth herein is the exclusive warranty of the Supplier and all other warranty terms and conditions expressed or implied, are excluded to the extent permitted by Australian law.

Return of goods purchased from the Supplier due to change of mind/ requirement must be authorised in writing and will attract a 30% restocking fee. The Supplier will issue RMA (return material authorisation) with all necessary instructions, goods returned without a valid RMA will not be accepted. The purchaser must return the goods at their own expense to the location specified in the RMA in original condition and packaging for assessment by the Supplier. If the goods are deemed in original condition, store credit will be processed in due course.

Under no circumstances made to order (MTO) items will be accepted for returns.
